Jesus on the Biblical Worldview, Righteousness as the Key to Happiness, and the Difficulty of the Christian life
Welcome back to The Think Institute’s Newsletter. Every Friday, you get an idea from me, a quote from somebody else, and something to think about. Do you know someone whom you think would enjoy this newsletter? Please share this link: https://thethink.institute/newsletter.
AN IDEA FROM ME
If the Bible is God’s truth (and it is), then this is a huge problem: only four percent of our neighbors have a biblical worldview. Most of your neighbors are looking at the world through unbiblical lenses. They are lost without Christ.
As Christians, it’s incumbent on us to conform our minds to God’s. It’s really important to understand there is no neutrality when it comes to worldview. As Romans 12:2 says, we are not to conform to the world, but we are to be transformed by the renewing of our mind.
We have to learn all that Christ commanded, and learn to obey all that Christ commanded (Matthew 28:19). Jesus prayed that we would be set apart from the world—and what would set us apart would be the truth of God’s word (John 17:17).
So we have to think through the biblical lens. Look at the world, look at life through the lens of the Bible. That’s what it means to be transformed by God’s word, and not to be conformed to the world.

A QUOTE FROM SOMEBODY ELSE
Whenever you put happiness before righteousness, you will be doomed to misery. That is the great message of the Bible from beginning to end. They alone are truly happy who are seeking to be righteous.
